You land on a random Street View spot somewhere on Earth. Pan around, follow the road, and look for anything that hints at the region: signs, license plates, road markings, building style, even the position of the sun. Drop your pin on the world map when you're ready and see how close you landed.

Tips for better guesses

• Read road signs and number plates for language and format clues

• Look at roof shapes, fences and building materials

Good to know

OpenGuessr is open source and free to play, with no signup wall to start a round. Leaderboards track your results if you want to compete, and teachers or streamers can set up their own competitions with a custom set of locations.
